We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. We are looking to heir 1-2 candidate to cover approximately 32 hours of work a week.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy and basic principles of physical therapy is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinic setting is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
