About the role
We're looking for a Bookkeeper and Administrator to join our Finance team. This role will be the primary person responsible for reconciliation of transactions and Accounts Receivable and will report directly to the Controller.
In addition, the Bookkeeper and Administrator will be responsible for organizing company events and booking travel for the Executive team. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working in a fast paced environment with a high level of autonomy.
What you"ll do
- Keep an accurate record of all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and purchases.
- Categorize transactions appropriately within the accounting system.
- Update and manage the general ledger to ensure all entries are correctly posted.
- Reconcile discrepancies and verifying the accuracy of records.
- Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in transactions.
- Generate invoices for clients, manage client portals and completion of client documentation, and monitoring payments to ensure accounts receivable are collected.
- Plan and book travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- Manage group travel logistics, ensuring alignment with schedules and special requirements.
- Collaborate with clients or internal teams to determine event goals, budgets, and requirements.
- Research, select, and negotiate with venues, vendors, and service providers for events.
- Develop event timelines, schedules, and agendas to ensure smooth execution.
