What does an AAS RBT do?
As an AAS Behavior Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting children in achieving their goals while experiencing the gratification of life-changing work.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized 1:1 therapy to patients in home, school, and/or clinic settings
- Implement treatment plans with precision and creativity under the guidance of BCBAs (Clinical Supervisors)
- Collect accurate data and complete clinic notes
- Build positive relationships with families and clients
- Adhere to HIPAA policies and maintain confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with BCBA regarding patient progress
What are the qualifications for this position?
- Active RBT certification (Must have full RBT certification)
- Be at least 18 years or older
- Have a HS diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background check
- Possession or willingness to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card and Article 9 certification
- Desire to work with children, experience with autism spectrum disorder preferred
- Commitment to maintaining RBT certification
- Availability for at least 15 hours per week with flexibility for schedule adjustments
- Reliable transportation with a clean driving record and automobile insurance

Candidates must be comfortable with a caseload that will start at roughly 15 hours a week. This is anticipated to grow to 30 within a few weeks
