AAC is seeking a System Administrator I for our client in Albuquerque, NM.
- This position requires on-site work 3 days per week in Albuquerque, NM.
- This role requires the ability to obtain a clearance.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Ability and knowledge to perform primary systems administration and support for systems and equipment in a Windows Active Directory environment including steady-state file print servers, domain controllers, applications servers, media storage systems, access control, hardware installations, wiring / cabling support, equipment rack re-locations, power source support, backup media rotations, installations / upgrades, OS configurations, problem resolution, system administration, data backup / recoveryExpertise and technical proficiencies in providing steady-state support for deployed desktop and laptop images using enterprise-wide deployment techniquesAbility to execute routine updates to deployed systemsExperience in monitoring OS and security patchingAble to support routine software patch updates via a Desktop / Server enterprise management system such as BigFix and Microsoft SCCMAble to leverage Printer and Multifunction printer enterprise management toolsProficient background in administration, monitoring and steady-state maintenance support is requiredUnderstanding of enterprise-level server and desktop systems and the latest Microsoft Server technologies to include supporting deployed hardware and softwareAbility to support steady-state enterprise-wide upgrades and changes to associated systemsAbility to monitor systems to ensure compliance with enterprise-wide standardsKnowledge and experience in supporting steady-state systems Backup, Restore and Recovery proceduresREQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
Associates degree in Computer Science or related field OR Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) IT Infrastructure certification OR 2 years of experience in Computer, Windows Active Directory, network, and IT hardware supportCompany Description
