What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Specialist position at Advanced Automation Consulting?
AAC is looking for a Technical Support Specialist for a position working on-site in Boiling Springs, SC.This individual would be working with internal users and customers on a daily basis to troubleshoot technical issues. This a fast-growing company with a strong culture looking to connect with people who genuinely love all aspects of Information Technology.
Responsibilities:
-Assist client and local users of the company’s technology solutions in solving technical issues
-Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues received via phone, email, orwalk-in’s
-Perform thorough follow up of helpdesk tickets
-Utilize internal ticketing system for helpdesk tickets involving operating systems, companysoftware, and other software applications
Requirements:
-2-5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues through an IT support ticketing system
-Experience resolving network-based issues, configuration and installation of operating systems,and working with internal business applications
-Experience with user administration within Active Directory -Strong understanding of basic networking concepts -
Strong PC skills and a passion for helping people understand information technology
-Basic knowledge of the following specific technologies is preferred:
- Linux
- VoIP
- LAMP stack
- PHP oSQL
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
