What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Receptionist position at Advanced Body Medical?
Our ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping people, an exceptional work ethic, and an eagerness to learn. We are searching for candidates that understand a small business and working closely with team members. Please keep in mind that we are a small private practice. We are NOT a large corporation. We only have 5 to 6 staff members on the schedule at any given moment.
We are looking for an integrated healthcare assistant to join our team at Advanced Body Medical. Our integrated clinic brings a different style of preventative medicine and healthcare to the community. We offer well-rounded patient care that includes holistic health, rehab, and chiropractic care. Work with our team of doctors, mid-levels, and rehab techs to help educate people on their ailments, bring them options, and avoid drugs and surgery where possible!
This position would require:
- Greeting patients
- Checking patients in and out
- Guiding patients throughout the office
- Answering phones
- Making appointments
- Taking insurance information
- Handling money
- Making sure patients' accounts balance
- Keeping track of stats
- Working as a team with the entire staff requires great communication skills
At times this position may require:
- Setting patients up on/taking them off of different treatments/modalities
- Learning to take x-rays
- Minimal filing and scanning
- Helping other team members with tasks during busier times
