Duties and Responsibilities
Develop the organizational capabilities to execute KM improvement activities efficiently and effectively.
- Assist the organization in developing policies related to Knowledge Management.
- Support the enterprise by conducting knowledge management assessments to generate accurate, reliable, and complete data that will bring focus, visibility, and accountability to strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Streamline workflows and improve efficiency through innovative KM practices.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, departments, and external partners to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Assist the organization in Knowledge Management Workforce Development by developing a cadre of Knowledge Management Representatives (KMR). Help the organization to achieve its annual goal of generating trained knowledge management practitioners.
o Conduct Knowledge Management Representative courses for the organization's KM practitioner community
o Provide mentoring and coaching to cultivate the body of KM practitioners.
o Develop, design, and implement knowledge management problem resolution recommendations for SharePoint®.
- Required Qualifications*
o 10 Years professional experience as a knowledge manager in support of DoD operations
o Deep experience, familiarity, and knowledge of established and emerging KM practices.
o Strong organizational skills.
o Excellent verbal and written communication with a variety of audiences at all levels of the organization.
o Computer skills to include Microsoft Office
o Pass a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) with inquiry. Possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
o Shall be a U.S. citizen
o Possess appropriate training and experience to perform all required functions.
