ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of the organizational five-year plan for nursing care.

Supervise Assistant Directors of Medical Operations and direct reports and assess the delivery of quality care within our client sites.

Lead operational best practices, support onboarding of new clients, serve as division leadership and oversee special projects.

Serve as the spokesperson for medical operations to advocate clinical care practices by contributing to RFPs and program overviews to retain and acquire new clients.

Oversee client contracts, review budgets, and audit over-under reports to disseminate corrective actions to ensure contractual compliance.

Direct the strategic planning, onboarding, and integration of new clients.

Partner with medical staff and management teams to facilitate teamwork to collaboratively accomplish organizational goals.

Provide supervision and coaching of direct reports.

Partner with the talent acquisition team to interview and select qualified associates.

Review and monitor the completion of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQIs) studies to interpret data and ensure effective delivery and clinical care processes.

Create the strategy, develop, and communicate staffing plans.

Responsible for auditing and validating the effectiveness of officer training, CQI studies, and site visit performance.

Evaluate and verify associate performance through review of completed work assignments and quarterly coaching.

Responsible for monitoring and reporting of CQI, peer reviews, evaluations, site visit scoreboards, and LMS metrics.

Identify staff development opportunities, training needs, and ensure training is obtained.

Train and coach Assistant Directors of Medical Operations (ADMOs) and high potential leaders.

Serves as liaison between headquarter team, clients, and staff.

Acquire and maintain professional licensure.

Remain available for 24/7 operational calls including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Demonstrate commitment and dedication to providing clinical support and guidance in the development and deployment of initiatives designed to solve problems and make lives easier.

Maintain an accurate and up-to-date strategic planning manual with continuity BUS plan and goals.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Registered Nurse licensure required in the state(s) where services are to be provided

Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing (BSN) required
-
Master’s Degree of Nursing (MSN) preferred
-
5 years of healthcare management experience required to include correctional healthcare experience required
-
NCCHC Board Certification required within 1 year of employment
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on-training
-
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
