We are currently seeking a candidate with exceptional customer service to join our team as a Medical Assistant. The environment is a medical office for a well-known dermatology company. We pride ourselves on being the largest dermatology practice in the country! We are committed to providing the best experience and care for our patients. This is a full time position.

Duties to include

• Assisting physician in providing quality care to patients
• Maintain patients' medical records
• Review medical history
• Obtain appropriate consents
• Call in prescriptions
• Perform patient call backs
  
  

Other duties may include

• Screening patients and employees daily upon entry
• Checking patients In and Out
• Rooming patients and keeping social distancing guidelines
• Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Sanitizing and cleaning respective areas as needed
  
  

Qualifications Include

• Customer service experience required
• Must be computer literate
• CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of employment
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
• At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred
• MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program preferred
