Growing engineering firm seeking a Survey Technician with 0-3 years of experience.
Job Overview:
Work as a two-man crew while using current technology and software to the fullest extent possible. Must be able to perform field-work in all-weather conditions and assist the party chief with required duties. Two-man crew will perform mostly topographic and construction surveys.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to assist Crew Chief with responsibilities as assigned by the Survey Manager
- Perform basic mathematical calculations and field check information
- Assist with providing accurate and concise notes
- Flexible and adaptive to changing conditions
- Maintain equipment to a high-level of functionality
- Understand basic concepts of measurement errors
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Land Surveying Science or related field preferred but not required
- Experience using Trimble equipment preferred but not required
- Authorization to work in SD-US without sponsorship
- Current Driver’s license
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in all-weather conditions
