Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Production Associate at Advanced Drainage Systems, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products meets customer expectations. You'll be responsible for managing a plastic extrusion line, conducting regular product sampling, and troubleshooting process and mechanical problems. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and be able to work varying shifts. The role requires flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including weekends as required.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a plastic extrusion line to ensure finished goods meet quality specifications
- Conduct regular product sampling to ensure consistent quality
- Troubleshoot process and mechanical problems and perform repairs and adjustments as required
- Maintain a safe work environment through proper PPE and housekeeping compliance
Requirements
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts, in a safe manner
- Reading and writing skills
- Previous manufacturing machine operation or extrusion experience
