What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Site Survey Technician position at Advanced Exterior Systems?
Advanced Exterior Systems, sister company of Precision Walls and trusted Architectural cladding design and fabrication firm, is seeking a qualified individual with experience in AutoCAD to join their team in Raleigh, NC.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner over phone and through email
- Friendly, professional, outgoing, team member mindset
- Final review of shop drawings prior to submission to the customer.
- Accurate survey/measurement and recording of field dimensions to guarantee that our panel systems and trims fit the building and are in accordance with our approved shop drawings.
- Will need to develop strong and positive customer and employee relationships to assure that they are the partner that helps drive the job with the GC/Customer and/or Client.
- Assure that the Red Line Drawings are available when needed and that the measuring schedule is maintained to ensure that the deadlines are met.
- Be responsible for developing your own schedule from the project schedule by, along with input from the AES team using the two weeks look ahead to ensure that any future needs that could potentially affect the schedule are met.
- Help with determining the job scheduling and requirements with the assistance of AES VP of Operations, Designers, Superintendent(s) and or Project Managers through a job set-up review to assure that they are fully knowledgeable of the scope and expectations of the customer and that the plans are accurate.
This is a full-time position, with immediate availability for qualified individuals.

Education/Experience:
- Foreman, FIT, Top Lead Mechanic experience
- Proven ability to survey and measure precise dimensions of substrates on site
