Large ophthalmology practice in need of a motivated, self-starting Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or experienced Ophthalmic Assistant.

Our 14 doctor multi-specialty ophthalmology/optometry practice has 4 office locations across the Southeastern Massachusetts area. Our doctors and physicians provide full service medical and surgical care including routine eye care, retina, glaucoma, oculoplastics, pediatrics, and cornea/ external disease. We are also the premier destination for optical and contact lens service.
Required:
Certification by the Joint commission on Allied Personnel in Ophthalmology at the COA or COT level is preferred but we will assist you in attaining certification.
Pay will commensurate with experience.
Experienced Certified Ophthalmic Assistants will start at a competitive rate matching their skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification by the Joint commission on Allied Personnel in Ophthalmology at the COA or COT level is preferred but we will assist you in attaining certification.
- Possess the professional and communication skills necessary to successfully interact with patients and staff in addressing all patients’ needs.
- Maintain a positive attitude and forge a good working relationship with other staff members.
- The ability to remain composed under stressful situations.
- Pass a background and reference check.
