The function of the Level 1 Fire Alarm Construction Technician is to aid in the installation, repair, renovation and maintenance of all fire alarm types.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Install, repair, renovate and maintain all fire alarm types in a timely and efficient manner
- Load and handle materials and equipment
- Maintain company vehicles to ensure appropriate working order and appearance
- Complete daily reports and any other required paperwork
- Ensure safety conditions at all time to include but not limited to the use of protective equipment (safety glasses, masks, gloves, etc.)
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all employees of AFPS, as well as customers, other vendors and prospective customers
- Use of basic hand tools
- All other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to be insured on company automobile insurance
- Acceptable background check and drug screening
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basic arithmetic
- Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Intermediate computer and software skills
- The ability to communicate in English
