Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision components according to specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
Critical Responsibilities
- Operates CNC machines independently within an 8 -10-hour shift
- Load and unload materials to compare each cut to the design blueprint
- Adjust programs and tools in order to produce quality parts and cuts.
- Routinely inspects CNC machine for any malfunction and report any issues to the floor manager or design engineer as they occur
- Independently coordinate and follow machine maintenance schedule to ensure machine efficiency
- Responsible to keep all related material racks organized and stocked
Qualifications
- Work authorization required
- 3 year CNC operations experience
- Forklift certified (a plus)
- Comfortable operating a computer, using a USB, selecting files
- Proficiency In using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, indicators, Allen wrenches and other measuring instruments
- Ability to visually inspect all produced parts and machine functions
- Ability to understand blueprints and written instructions as well as G&M codes
- Able to work in a high production-based environment
- Must be able to lift 50 unassisted
- Must be able to sit and stand independently for extended periods of time
- Must be able to successfully complete a drug test and background check subject to applicable law
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
