Primary responsibilities:
Full Cycle Accounts Payable Processing including:
- Verify item costs against purchase orders and vendor quotes
- Post high volume vendor bills in accounting software
- Reconcile vendor statements between Quickbooks and email
- Categorize and post credit card charges
- Communicate effectively with vendors via email and phone regarding payment and account status
- Issue payments by check or online
- Audit AP system monthly
- Assemble financial information for audits
- Monitor sales tax reporting requirements for multiple states with state-specific rules. Process sales tax returns as required by each state.
- Maintain an organized alpha-numeric filing system
- Other accounting and administrative duties as needed
Skills required
- Accounts payable training and/or experience.
- Quickbooks or similar accounting software competency. Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of inventory concepts and practices.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must have meticulous attention to detail with date entry and documentation
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to proactively prioritize tasks according to company policy.
- Ability to work independently or as a team.
- Strong written, verbal, organizational and math skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and meticulous.
This position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Candidate will be eligible to receive company benefits package (paid holidays, paid vacation) upon successful completion of 90-day probationary period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,840.00 - $56,160.00 per year
