Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lead Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and developing activities within our laboratory environment. This position involves performing various laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with most current lab standards. The Laboratory Technician will work closely with other medical providers, lab director and technicians to facilitate the smooth operation of laboratory processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols.
- Analyze test results and maintain accurate records of findings.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Prepare samples for analysis, including histology and microbiology procedures.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
- Assist in research development projects by providing technical support and data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards in the laboratory.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience in an industrial laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations related to laboratory procedures.
- Familiarity with CGMP regulations and quality assurance practices.
- Experience in histology, microbiology, or other relevant areas of scientific research is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data interpretation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $19.36 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
