What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR and Recruiting Coordinator position at Advanced Instruments?
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented and organized HR and Recruiting Coordinator to work hybrid, full time in our Norwood, MA office.
A Day in the Life:
As a HR and Recruiting Coordinator, this role plays a crucial part in managing the recruitment process, supporting HR operations, and ensuring a positive experience for candidates and employees. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and multitasking skills, will have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity, be adaptable to changing priorities and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be a collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset. In this role, you will have the option to provide recruiting support like, post job openings, screen resumes, conduct reference checks and maintain tracking history. At the same time, this role allows for you to prosper your HR career by assisting with onboarding, maintaining employee records, supporting HR projects. There is some administrate support that is crucial for our HR and TA function to prosper. Most importantly, you will be first point of contact!
What we are looking for in you:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years experience in recruitment or HR coordination preferred.
- Proficiency in multi-tasking, heavy scheduling and being flexible with projects
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), ADP is a plus and HR management systems (HRMS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.
