We are Advanced Insurance Solutions, a fast-growing Health Insurance Agency seeking an organized and motivated Customer Service/Receptionist.
We focus on Medicare and the under-65 individual market, helping people understand their Medicare options and guide them to long-term plans that will help them.
We also write ACA (under 65 individual policies), Small Group, Dental, Vision, and other products.
You will be part of a competent service team supporting our clients every step of the way.
The ideal candidate has one year or more of experience as a customer service/receptionist and is proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
You will have a variety of responsibilities with a strong, comprehensive training program and the ability to think proactively and provide recommendations to make the business run efficiently.
Your duties will include answering phones, greeting clients, providing aid to prospective and current clientele, coordinating packets for agent appointments, and corresponding with insurance carriers.
You will also add and maintain client information in CRM systems, upload monthly renewals from carriers into CRM, assist the team with various projects, organize online folders for each carrier, and assist with yearly open enrollment (October-December) requiring 40 hours weekly and possible Saturdays.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Prior health insurance experience, especially in Medicare, is a plus
• Self-motivated and organized
• Adaptable attitude and flexible schedule during busy season (October to December each year)
