Position Overview
The Unit Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the clinic. This position provides clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth clinic workflow, effective communication, and quality patient care. The Unit Administrative Assistant interacts with patients, medical staff, and clinic departments to coordinate essential tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the back office receptionist, handling phone calls, messages, and inquiries.
- Input data into electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling, and charge systems.
- Maintain and stock exam rooms
- Coordinate patient appointments and facilitate clinic scheduling.
- Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment.
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and clinic policies at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and office software preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is a plus.
