Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Painesville, OH

About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and supporting the design and implementation of manufacturing systems. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machining, process improvement, and production planning.
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturdays: Half-day shifts (as needed)

Responsibilities
- Process Data: Manage new engineering data and initiate engineering change orders (ECOs)
- Resolve Issues: Provide technical support on components for new and existing products
- Manage Orders: Generate engineering orders and oversee part disposition for production
- Update Docs: Create and revise engineering documents for accuracy and compliance
- Improve Processes: Identify inefficiencies and implement work-flow improvements
- Optimize Machining: Refine machining processes to enhance precision and efficiency
- Plan Production: Develop and execute production sequences based on specs
- Ensure Accuracy: Keep operation sheets updated and correct
- Enforce Safety: Ensure proper tool use and maintain a safe work environment
- Support Programming: Assist with CNC programming using Esprit
- Hands-On Support: Operate CNC lathe and mill machines when needed
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience on set up/operation/editing CNC lathe and/or mill machines
- Strong understanding or use of of CAM (Esprit ideal but not required)
- Strong understanding of conventional machines
- Strong understanding of tooling geometry and tool selections
- Ability to read and interpret customer and engineer drawings and prints
- Knowledge of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators
- Engineering degree preferred
