Electrical Assembler
We are looking for someone like you to join our growing team at Diversified Machine Systems as an Electrical Assembler! Diversified Machine Systems is a privately held corporation with headquarters located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are an industry-leading designer and American manufacturer of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC Routers and machine solutions.

Job Description Summary
Responsible for wiring main electrical panels and ensuring specifications and tolerances are met.
Specific Job Duties
- Routes, wires, assembles, and installs electrical and electronic components into CNC main control panels according to specifications, diagrams, and other computer-generated models of CNC routers.
- Looks for faulty components and mistakes in specifications. Reports quality control issues immediately to supervisor.
- Reads and interprets instructions, assembles parts, and tools, and fits electronic components together while completing checklists for assigned tasks
- Assists in training new hires to the electrical department with ability to solve problems
- Performs other related duties as assigned and able to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications
Education/ Skills/Physical Job Requirements
- A minimum of three months of electrical experience and/or training; One year certificate from college or technical school is desirable
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist level on an occasional basis climb on a ladder and be exposed to risk of electrical shock, fumes and/or airborne particles
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
- The individual will be frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock, fumes, and/or airborne particles.
