THE ROLE:
AMD is looking to expand the Developer Solutions team to include a Senior DevOps/Software engineer who will use their expertise to improve our continuous build/test/delivery environment.
THE PERSON:
Are you a passionate DevOps engineer? Can you write a Jenkins pipeline with your eyes closed? Are you fluent in CMake? Do you like building computers using the latest AMD CPU and GPU hardware? Can you build and maintain a test lab to provide continuous integration, automated testing, and new hardware bring up? Do you like to troubleshoot drivers and hardware, solve technical issues, and work with exciting new computer products?
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous professional experience in a DevOps role
- Passionate about all aspects of good software engineering
- Experience with multi-platform development (Linux, Windows)
- Familiarity with the following technologies
- Jenkins
- Python
- Visual Studio
- CMake
- Git
- Java/Groovy
- C
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/software engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
