AMS is seeking someone to join the Team to provide hands-on care in Oklahoma City, OK as an EEG Technologist/Clinical Neurophysiologist.
Candidates must be willing to train in neuromonitoring principles. Ideal candidates will bring prior experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
To have success in this role, a candidate MUST be able to thrive under pressure by multi-tasking to support team related goals, care for the patient, and maintain relationships with hospital staff. Additionally, the ideal candidate is interested in an ever-changing, flexible work schedule, as work is performed when procedures are performed; not just between the hours of 9:00-5:00. We offer a focused training program and dynamic compensation package with incentives for completion of company objectives. This position will be based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
As a Clinical Neurophysiologist, some of the job functions include:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs necessary neurological studies (EEG) as needed for patients.
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting multiple EEG instruments and software.
- Application of knowledge in anatomy and neurophysiology relative to the monitoring being performed.
- Knowledge and application of current practices in neuromonitoring. (Maintained through extensive reading of published literature and practice standards.)
- Maintenance of continuing education requirements by ABRET and Advanced Monitoring Services.
- Archiving and maintaining appropriate records of all studies performed.
- Knowledge of practices and protocols consistent with current standards of care established by professional healthcare organizations and appropriate regulatory bodies.
- Excellent computer and technological skills.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor with the ability to interact and give effective communication to staff, surgeons, and other technologists.
- All employees will be required to take call as established by the call schedule.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or it’s equivalent
- REEGT Certification with multiple years of experience preferred
- CLTM and/or EMU experience a plus
- Prior experience with Cadwell equipment is preferred
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and achievements. Obtaining or having appropriate board certifications is a requirement. AMS offers great health benefits and bonus plans.
