ADVANCED Motion Controls® (AMC) is looking for an experienced Electronic Assembler with excellent soldering skills.

Required Skills and Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5-years hands-on soldering work experience performing: PCBA touch-up, thru hole placement, rework and repair using hand soldering and desoldering tools, and fine-pitch soldering.
- Ability to select appropriate methods, materials to perform the touch-up, thru hole placement, rework and repair using hand soldering and desoldering tools.
- Ability to remove and replace fine pitch components (E.g. TSOP, QFP, SOIC) without damage to the PCB or components.
- Ability to perform repair of damaged PCB traces.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Must be able to use a computer to read mechanical drawings and written work instructions.
- Perform all work to company quality and productivity requirements.
- Understand and adhere to ESD and ISO procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Other job duties as required.
Preferred:
Candidates with the following Qualifications/Certifications preferred:
- J-STD-001 Soldering Standards and Specifications
- IPC-A-610 Acceptability Standards
- IPC-7711/7721 Rework, modification, and Repair Process Standards
- Previous work experience soldering under microscope (miniaturization).
Other Requirements:
- Will occasionally/frequently: stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift/push/pull to 25 lbs.
- This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (October through May). Summer hours (June through September): Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:45pm.
- Overtime is required including starting early, staying late, and working Saturdays.
- We are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations). Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
Required Education:
- Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent.
Pay Range: $20 to $26 per hour.
