ADVANCED Motion Controls® (AMC) is looking for an Entry Level SMT Operator. The hired candidate will assist with various SMT (Surface Mount Technology) operations.

Job Requirements:
- Perform various job duties for offline and online SMT equipment as directed.
- Load/unload component reels from SMT feeders, including building and tearing down setups.
- Load and unload printed circuit boards (PCBs) into oven equipment.
- Verify reels and part numbers.
- Perform other assignments as required.
- Perform all work to company quality and productivity requirements.
- Work under moderate supervision.
- Observe proper ESD, MSL, and contamination prevention handling practices.
- Understand and adhere to ISO procedures.
- Be able to do basic computer functions, such as opening a computer program and operating a hand-held scanner.
- Be able to use a computer to read mechanical drawings and written work instructions.
- Be able to read, write and speak English.
- Be able to move from task to task easily and frequently.
- Must be very organized and detail oriented.
- Be able to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
- This position requires frequent/constant standing/walking, frequent use of both hands/fingers including fine manipulation/pressure, and occasionally: sitting, carrying, lifting to 25 lbs, and team lifting up to 75 lbs.
- This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (October through May). Summer hours (June through September): Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:45pm.
- Overtime is required including starting early, staying late, and working Saturdays.
- We are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations). Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
Required Education:
- Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Prior SMT work experience.
- Prior electronic assembly work experience.
Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.
