Job Overview
Advanced Obstetrics & Gynecology, LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Staff to work in our Call Center. In this role, the clinical staff member will be responsible for providing support in our Call Center and triaging phone calls and inquiries from patients.
The ideal candidate must possess clinical background, as an LPN or Medical Assistant, strong communication skills, a customer-centric attitude, the ability to analyze information effectively and and previous Call Center experience.
Responsibilities
- Excellent customer services skills.
- Greet patients courteously on the phone, triage a patient needs and provide direction with support from our clinical staff and physicians
- Schedules appointments in appropriate time slots to maintain patient flow and properly documents reason for appointment in details
- Obtains accurate insurance information and checks eligibility for urgent appointments.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills while triaging patient calls.
- Triages calls appropriately and provides adequate information for clinical staff.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced high volume call center and achieve metrics requirement for efficiency
- Ability to navigate EMR (EHR/PM) side to access patient records to properly manage clinical inbox on a regular basis
- Acts as a Patient liaison. Serves as "patient / communication liaison" between the physician and patient. Supports team approach.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant / LPN or seeking certification
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical office operations and terminology.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to the role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Ability to analyze information effectively and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
