Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine of SWFL is currently seeking an experienced medical receptionist/multi phone operator to join our team. The right candidate will understand the value of compassionate and professional service. In this role, you would be responsible for serving as a medical receptionist.
DETAILED MEDICAL RECEPTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcomes and greets patients and visitors in a manner that is helpful and friendly.
- Check in and Check out
- Answers multiple phone lines courteously and efficiently.
- Performs day-to-day office duties, including but not limited to data entry, copying, and filing, appointment scheduling and medical-record management.
- Obtains verification and authorizations for patient’s insurance.
- Collects and posts patient payments.
- Maintains the patient waiting areas, office files, and front-desk areas in a manner that is organized and neat.
- Schedule phone conferences for physicians
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Computer literacy; 35 WPM
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
