Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a motivated Human Resources Assistant for a new opportunity with our client here in the Triad. The HR Assistant will be responsible for handling administrative duties supporting the full suite of talent acquisition and human resources processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and orientation for the Human Resources Department.
Job Duties
- Perform general administrative tasks to support department functions such as filing, typing, data entry, mail collection and distribution, etc.
- Maintain personnel records and assist separated employee processing
- Provide Recruiting assistance
- Create orientation packages
- Move new applications through initial steps of the interview process
- Assist with coordination and attend career job fairs
- Assist with building and maintaining relationships with organizations including schools, community agencies, workforce development organizations, etc.
- Enhance social media presence on multiple websites, such as Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and strategies and help create a more streamlined and efficient hiring process and reduce overall time to fill and improve qualify of hire.
- Engage with and support the HR team with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or closely related field and 3 years of recruiting experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (verifiable by pre-employment examination)
Salary : $20 - $23
