We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
- Assist with billing, including preparing HCFA and notes for outgoing mail, scanning denials and payments and posting payments.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and answering the phone with professionalism, answering questions as able and directing calls as needed.
- Become proficient with billing software and physical therapy software programs.
- Assist with managing inventory and mailing products.
- Communicate with doctors and other referral sources obtaining documentation as directed.
- Tracking patients and contacting patients that are MIA
- Act as an assistant to senior staff members when required, providing support on all projects and tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role is mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on effective communication and phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in standard office software applications is essential.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
