General Summary:
Provide highly efficient and organized administrative support to management and the front office in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties include receptionist, report maintenance, business to business customer care and data entry. Candidate must project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Candidate must be a self-starter who takes pride in their work and is willing to learn.
Education and/or Experience:
- Associates Degree and 2 years experience or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience organizing and maintaining files
- Knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
- Ability to work with multiple people on multiple projects at the same time and prioritize work
- Excellent customer service skills on the phone and in person
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience in an ERP Manufacturing System preferred
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable is a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounting tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other Accounting Projects as assigned
- Assist with confidential paperwork
- Maintain and compile information into weekly, monthly and yearly reports as assigned
- Organize and maintain front office filing
- Order supplies as needed
- Answer phones, take messages, data entry, fax and scan documents, and maintain calendars
- Coordinate business travel, and assist with tradeshow coordination
- Organize and prepare for company meetings, employee events and client visits
- Provide administrative support for multiple departments including engineering, quality, human resources, accounting and sales
