CAPPS Systems Analyst 3 Lead

Job Summary:
The goal of this position (which will be in the Finance division) is to review and assist the lead analysts with the current configuration instance for efficiency and to evaluate for best use cases moving forward that will may reduce workload on staff resources and increasing accuracy in reporting and reduce maintenance of the existing systems.

• This will will include working with cross-divisional executives, directors and other stakeholders as directed by the CFO to review current TCAPPS business processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate the necessary functional & technical resources when collaboration is required.
• lead analysis to re-engineer or develop processes necessary for efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system.
• Working with business customers to gather requirements for the system and/or process improvements and report development.
• Responsible for consistent use of project standardized processes and forms, including but not limited to, Functional Design Documents, Key Design Decisions, Change Controls, Risk and Issue log, Scope Documentation, Configuration Documentation, Business Process Flows, and other project documents as needed.
• Provide input to project management to estimate the level of effort required for customer requested activities.
• Prepare detailed documentation in support of any of the activities listed above as requested by management.
• Complete full range of testing and configuration as needed.
• Design, Test and Build Queries to assist with business process improvement.

EXPERIENCE-

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 10 Years: CAPPS Business Process Design/Redesign/Reingineering best practices.
• 10 Years: Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement.
• 10 Years: Development of various reporting mechanisms.
• 10 Years: Experience with ERP/CAPPS Financials/PeopleSoft in Texas.
• 10 Years: Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• 10 Years: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• 10 Years: CAPPS GL, Commitment Control, Purchasing,E-Procurement, AP, Cash Receipts, Inv, Assets and Grants.
• 10 Years: PeopleSoft Financial modules implementation and post-go live experience with an emphasis on process improvement.
• 5 Years: Five or more State Agency CAPPS Financial Implementations
• 5 Years: Familiar with TCAPPS configuration with TEA (Texas Education Agency).

Contract Details:

• The primary work location(s) will be at 100% Remote, Work Location With-in the United States - Austin Region Preferred as possible in-person meetings may be required. No Travel will be paid. The working position is Remote.
• Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
• Services are expected to start 02/17/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1040 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
