*Job Summary* As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be working in warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing environments to ensure efficient and safe handling of goods. *Duties* - Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse - Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other material handling equipment - Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations - Assist with inventory control by accurately recording product movements - Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines *Qualifications* - Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting - Knowledge of warehouse management systems for tracking inventory - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required - Familiarity with order picking processes and procedures - Certification in operating specific types of forklifts such as clamp trucks is a plus - Understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation - Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or distribution centers is advantageous. Those with felonies will not be considered for these positions at this time.
