What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Advanced Project Solutions, LLC?
A Commercial construction company has an opening for a Part Time; (with availability to move to full time later) Office Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answering main company multi-line phone
- Data entry
- Review vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Basic Accounting duties
- Track and maintain employee safety certifications and trainings
- Filing
- Coordinates all incoming/outgoing mail
- Copy, fax, email, ship documents, draft correspondence
- Prepare lien releases and assuring documentation is complete as part of the A/P process
- Maintain professional relationships with vendors, subcontractors
- Perform special assignments as directed by the Manager.
- Other duties, as required.
Required skills:
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
- Oral and written communication
- Professionalism- Honesty
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel with formulas capability, preferred, but not required
- Construction-industry accounting knowledge and experience, preferred, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
