Job Summary
As the Director of Radiology, you will oversee clinical functions of radiology operations across all three facilities. The position requires strong communication and leadership to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will leverage your expertise in diagnostic radiology and management to lead a team of radiology professionals. Your role will involve supervising and empowering caregivers, handling patient complaints, and enhancing employee retention. Job Responsibilities
- Lead and support the clinical team of imaging professionals
- Perform high quality imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray, DXA)
- Implement and monitor radiation safety and MRI safety measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Problem solve and facilitate the process of change
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Participate in recruitment, performance evaluations, disciplinary process and retention of staff
- Coordinate employee schedules and process payroll
- Analyze customer complaints, concerns and suggestions to resolve and provide appropriate follow through
- Oversee the evaluation and acquisition of capital equipment
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance of radiology equipment to ensure optimal functionality and proper use
Job Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum of five years radiology experience with at least two years in a management/supervisory role
- Knowledge of outpatient imaging practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers (i.e. patients, physicians and supporting departments)
- Strong human relations skills with ability to handle difficult/sensitive issues
- Ability to motivate others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
