About our position
We’re looking for a skilled Technical Recruiter who will play a key role on our HR team, and contribute to the successful recruitment and retention of highly skilled software development and IT professionals for our global software company. In this position, you will source and screen candidates for technical roles, work with hiring managers to create a shortlist of qualified individuals, assist with interviewing, and engage with potential candidates to enhance the ASI brand and reduce our time-to-hire. The Technical Recruiter will ensure we attract and retain top talent, assisting with onboarding and coordinating professional development and training requirements for new hires and existing technical staff.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with Hiring Managers to anticipate and identify hiring needs for technical roles and to fill positions quickly with talented and capable individuals.
- Composing and posting technical job descriptions for open positions.
- Sourcing potential candidates on niche platforms and other recruiting channels and reaching out with current job openings to passive candidates.
- Managing the resume screening process and perform initial screening interviews to analyze applicants’ abilities.
- Working with the Hiring Managers to interview candidates as part of structured interviews, including technical assessments and behavioral questions.
- Drafting job offer letters and assisting with onboarding new hires.
- Networking with local IT / software development professionals to build relationships, expanding the potential applicant pool, and promoting ASI’s reputation as a great place to work.
- Maintaining up-to-date job descriptions for technical roles by conducting job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements.
- Assisting Managers with tracking professional development and training for technical roles.
- Researching talent acquisition trends and proactively suggesting process improvements.
- Keeping up-to-date with new technological trends and products that are relevant for ASI’s technical roles.
- Performing other duties and job responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
