Busy Pain Management practice seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to work in our Virginia locations.
The ideal Medical Assistant candidate will be willing to commute to any of our 4 office locations: Stafford, Woodbridge, Arlington, and Fairfax as needed.
Medical Assistant's Responsibilities:
- Helping front desk with check-in/check-out duties
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking patient’s balances
- Collect laboratory specimens
- Dispose of contaminated supplies
- Sterilize medical instruments.
- Recording vital signs,
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients (injections)
- Preparing patients for examination
- Assisting the physician during the examination or procedures
- Preparing injection trays
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards
- Knowing and understanding medical procedures
- Checking weekly inventory of medical supplies.
- Scanning/ Copying/ Faxing documents
- Ensure the patients are treated courteously by office staff
