Advanced Steel Building Systems is looking for an organized and proactive Office Manager/HR Manager to join our team in office. This position will oversee the daily operations of the office - ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
This role involves administrative tasks, coordination of office activities, and providing support to staff and management. The Office Manager will be the central point of contact for all office-related matters. Office Manager and HR duties include and are not limited to,
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain the office layout and ensure it is kept tidy and organized.
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and coordinate repairs.
- Organize company events, meetings, and conferences.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and helping resolve work-related problems;
- Benefits administration, conducts on-boarding, background checks, 90-day interviews, and exit interviews, ensuring employees understand their benefit coverages. Administers 401(k) and health plans.
- Verify employee hours. Submits accurate payroll reports to accounting for processing bi-weekly.
- Maintain employee records, processing vacation and PTO requests, calculation of hours.
- Assists in identifying staff vacancies and recruits, interviews and selects applicants for additional interviews.
- Assist CFO with accounts receivables
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in HR Management/Office Management
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Conscientious, detail-oriented worker who is self-motivated.
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior-level executives to front-line workers.
