Job Summary:
POSITION SUMMARY
We have multiple positions available for Project Manager, including Gypcrete (concrete underlayment), General Construction, Restoration, and other construction specialties.
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Project Planning: The Project Manager oversees the planning of construction projects, including scope, schedule, and budget. They work closely with the project team and office manager to ensure that project goals are met.

2. The Project Manager shall act as Sales Rep for new and existing clients including answering calls, monitoring the sales email address, gathering information for estimators, coordinating with estimator on priorities, and peer reviewing proposals over $50k.
3. Estimating: The Sales Rep may also create estimates, proposals, and change orders from time to time. All proposals over $50k must be peer reviewed and signed by a member of the executive team (Vice President or President).
4. Proposal/Estimating Coordination: The Sales Rep works closely with the estimating team to conduct pre-bid job walks, review estimates/proposals, and review customer contracts prior to them being signed by the Executive team.
5. Client Relations: The Sales Rep will maintain client relationships and be the primary customer contact from request for quote through final payment and warranty. This shall include handling collections on past due payments.

6. Project Execution: The Project Manager is responsible for executing construction projects, including managing subcontractors, overseeing construction activities, and ensuring that quality standards are met.
7. Resource Management: The Project Manager is responsible for managing construction resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. They work closely with procurement and logistics staff to ensure that resources are available where and when needed.
8. Purchase Orders: The Project Manager shall create and issue purchase orders for suppliers and subcontractors prior to purchases over $5,000.
9. Subcontractors: The Project Manager shall manage subcontractor relationships and ensure our master company subcontracts are signed, worker’s company and liability insurance certificates received, and purchase orders/subcontracts are signed prior to any work being performed by subcontractors.
10. Budget Management: The Project Manager manages project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and that costs are controlled effectively.
11. Change Orders: The Project Manager shall track and record all change orders. All change orders over $5k must be signed by the client prior to work being performed. All change orders over $50k must be peer reviewed and signed by a company executive.
12. Communication: The Project Manager is responsible for communicating with all stakeholders, including project sponsors, engineers, architects, contractors, and other team members, to ensure that project goals are met, and stakeholders are informed of project status.
13. Risk Management: The Project Manager is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with construction projects, including safety hazards, delays, and cost overruns.
14. Client Management: The Project Manager manages client relationships, including communication, negotiation, and resolution of any issues that arise during the project.
15. Quality Assurance: The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed to the highest quality standards. They work with project managers and engineers to identify and address quality issues and ensure that corrective actions are taken as necessary.
Operations Manager – The Project Manager shall perform the duties of Operations Manager.
16. Safety Management: The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that construction sites are safe for workers and visitors. They work closely with safety staff to identify and mitigate safety hazards and ensure that safety procedures are followed.
17. Staff Management: The Operations Manager manages staff, including hiring and training the field crew, conducting performance evaluations, and providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. The Operations Manager may hire and fire, if all policies and procedures are properly followed.
18. Maintenance and security: The Operations Manager will oversee the security and maintenance of all equipment, material, vehicles, and the yard/shop.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
· Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
· Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and budget management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of construction industry best practices and regulations.
· Proficiency in project management software, such as Procore or PlanGrid.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Experience in managing subcontractors and vendors.
· Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
