Plan & price menu items, order supplies, & keep records & accts. Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow stds & regs. Check the qlty of raw or cooked food products to ensure that stds are met. Estimate amounts & costs of reqd supplies, such as food & ingredients. No education reqd, 24 mos of exp reqd in the job offd or as Restaurant Cook, Chef, Line Cook or closely rltd position. Supv at least 1 subordinate cook & multiple (3-4) food prep'n workers.
