We are Looking for:
The Mid-Level Graphic Designer’s primary focus will be to build and develop custom branded assets for livestreams, marketing, and monetization efforts. We’re looking for someone with a passion for design and ability to bring a creative, on-trench, brand forward approach to a multitude of different projects. Your expertise will be applied to enhance elements from on-air graphics to promotional spots for marketing and branding. This is a fully on-site position on a temporary part-time/ad-hoc basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and execute engaging, impactful and unique design solutions utilizing brand assets and identity guidelines.
- Design, develop and create animated 2D and 3D images from scratch.
- Create motion graphics, including: lower thirds, locators, composited elements, end tags.
- Creates and designs graphic layouts and/or animations for various digital video and social media platforms.
- Responsible for creating and compositing images and effects.
- Work both independently with cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, designers, copywriters, and videographers, from ideation to execution as needed.
- Articulate creative vision and design rationale to team members.
- Works with Creative Director, Director and Producers to design style frames, build storyboards and animate and composite video graphics and illustrations.
- Collaborate with project managers to update project status, review edits and/or feedback from the client.
- Work under direction from Art Director and Creative Director
- Use Airtable, Figma and Adobe Suite for daily project
- Ensure all deliverables are of the highest creative standards and adhere to best practices.
- Maintain organized project assets.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5-7 years related experience in graphic design and animation.
- Expertise in Adobe Suite, Figma, Airtable
- Knowledge of post production and live TV processes.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of motion/graphic and design best practices for online platforms, including delivery specifications and workflows.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter, strong self initiative.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation range for this position $45-$50/hour.
