The Contracts Manager will draft and negotiate complex professional service agreements and transactions with strategic business partners and vendors to achieve technology and product/service initiatives. This role will manage a wide variety of complex third-party partner and major vendor relationships in support of domestic and international strategies, product/services, software and technology objectives, initiatives, and migration. Long term position, with an opportunity to make an impact at a Fortune 500 organization! Must be local to Roseland, NJ, and available for a hybrid schedule.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years in contract management, with experience drafting and negotiating IT agreements, professional service contracts, or similar high-level transactions.
- Proven ability to negotiate, draft, and manage concurrent complex agreements with strategic business partners and major vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and minimizing risk.
- Strong experience managing strategic business partner and vendor relationships to achieve financial, operational, and product/service objectives.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to build and lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced education or certifications in contract management, legal studies, or procurement is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Negotiate, draft, and manage complex agreements with strategic partners and vendors to support technology, product, and service initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key business partners to meet operational, financial, and strategic objectives while minimizing risks.
- Advise senior and executive management on business, legal, financial, and technology issues related to contracts and partnerships.
- Recommend policy changes, re-engineer processes, and manage compliance with negotiated agreements to enhance business efficiency.
- Stay updated on market, industry, and legal developments to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
