What are the responsibilities and job description for the Naval Architect position at Advanced Technical Staffing Solutions?
ATSS Engineering has a client in Metairie, LA looking for a Naval Architect.
The ideal candidate must possess a B.S. degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering with a minimum of 18 months of experience in vessel design development, structural design, and auxiliary systems design for marine crafts such as patrol vessels, offshore supply vessels, tugs, and barges. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must in addition to familiarity with ABS, CFR, USCG, SOLAS, IMO and other applicable regulations.
Experience with AutoCAD, FEA, GHS, Rhino software is desirable.
Must be able to balance schedule and work on multiple projects in addition to working within a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $70,000
