We are seeking a highly skilled Explosives Analyst to join our team at Advanced Technology & Research Corporation (ATR). Located in Indian Head, MD, ATR is an equal-opportunity engineering company with a solid reputation in various engineering disciplines.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Modeling and Simulation team, assessing lethality and weapon effects of fielded and emerging weapons using advanced high-fidelity hydrocode simulations. This role requires strong technical skills, including familiarity with programming languages (MATLAB, C , Python, Fortran), digital signal processing techniques, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
We offer a competitive salary range of $94,000-$110,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Additionally, we provide an attractive comprehensive benefits package, including Medical/Dental insurances, free basic life/ADD, and long-term and short-term disability insurances, 401(k) plan, educational assistance program, and 5 weeks of paid leave per year for minimum seniority.
Please note that the candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation. Current successful background investigation is a plus.
