Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) currently has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will develop partner relationships and expand upon existing ATSC contract vehicles and OTAs for company growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop external relationships with DoD, DHS, non-Government, foreign military, commercial organizations and other Government agencies as required.
- Liaison with current contract Contracting Officers; assist with communication flow, resolve issues, identify needs and translate Government goals.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate opportunity and customer information within the pipeline systems.
- Effectively convey our services in both written and verbal business development discussions.
- Brief business status at regular staff meetings with executive leadership.
- Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Develop market strategies and establish a supporting qualified pipeline, create and track schedules, and report progress to executive management.
- Preparing various presentations and regularly attending client meetings, trade shows, conferences, etc.
- Support proposal teams by assisting with the development of compliant, compelling bids.
- Experience with search tools, such as Deltek, SAM.GOV, and GovWin.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government contracting Business Development; prior military and/or government service is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Experience working with or for the US Government/Department of Defense (DoD) and/ or DHS programs is required.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal.

- Work is typically performed in an office setting.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
- Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
