The company was founded in 2001 with the vision of empowering customers to maintain green spaces for generations to come.
Today, ATS serves customers in 30 states with 32 store locations and 120 outside sales representatives, and the company is in the process of launching an e-commerce platform to meet the needs of the next generation of customers.
Xylem Marketing is the internal marketing department for Advanced Turf Solutions and also operates as an in-house marketing agency, supporting a small portfolio of internal brands and subsidiary companies. This structure allows Xylem Marketing to deliver tailored marketing solutions for each company while leveraging shared resources and expertise to drive efficiency and consistency across all brands.
Job Overview:
The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen the Advanced Turf Solutions brand and its portfolio of proprietary and distributed products. This role requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, market analysis, and cross-functional leadership to drive brand growth and customer engagement across key markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the marketing director, channel managers, and market VPs to set brand strategies and initiatives and develop an integrated marketing campaign plan.
- Assist with developing and managing the brand budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and maximizing ROI on marketing spend.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and increase sales across all distribution channels.
- Collaborate with in-house creative team and/or partners to develop and execute marketing content, including digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, sales collateral, videos, and website updates.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand growth.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide reports on key metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Maintain relationships with vendor partners to align marketing strategies and ensure product messaging consistency.
- Develop and execute trade show presence and sponsorships and collaborate with the events manager on key events to build brand visibility and support sales efforts.
- Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to across all internal and external touchpoints.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems, CRM platforms,
and analytics tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-
paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, events, and customer visits.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, especially in professional services or distribution
channels.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or related roles; experience in the turf, agriculture, or green industry is preferred.
