Working directly under the supervision of the Technician Supervisor, the Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for processing prescriptions for shipment, answering phones, and acting as a customer service representative as needed. This position is responsible for ensuring that prescriptions are accurately and timely filled.

What You’ll Do

• Enter prescription information into system to be verified by the Pharmacist
• Prepare prescription labels and trays with selected medication to be filled while ensuring accuracy of quantity
• Assist in preparation for shipping and billing
• Replenish all pharmacy supplies as needed
• Ensure the pharmacy is clean and stations are filled
• Provide customer service as needed including answering phones and confirming prescription accuracy

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Demonstrates computer acumen including Microsoft Office and data entry
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
• Active Trainee license required; Massachusetts Registered Technician or Certified preferred
• 2 years relevant pharmacy experience, desired
• Retail, long-term care or mail order experience desired, but not required
• Monday through Friday schedules include:
• • Monday - Friday: 8 AM - 7 PM
  • Weekend Rotation: Saturday 9 AM - 3 PM Sunday 9 AM - 1 PM
