Sprinkler Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in fire sprinkler systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems in various commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of fire protection systems.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and tube bending as required for system installation.
• Conduct routine inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with existing systems, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems within building structures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to fire protection systems.
• Skills in pipe threading, tube bending, welding, and plumbing are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.70 - $31.55 per hour
