Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. Duties
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with fire protection equipment.
- Fabricate and assemble piping systems, including tube bending as required.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians, to coordinate installations.
- Document all work performed, including inspections and repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in building and maintaining fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to fire sprinkler installations.
- Familiarity with codes and standards governing fire safety systems.
- Experience in pipeline fabrication and installation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Fire Sprinkler Technician license preferred.
