What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die Maker position at Advanced Worker?
We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our internal job shop team. As a Machinist/Tool and Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in fabricating precision parts using various machining techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating lathe and milling machines, utilizing precision measuring instruments, and interpreting engineering drawings.
Duties:
- Operate and set up lathe and milling machines to produce high-quality components
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate parts within tight tolerances
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in machining using a manual lathe and Bridgeport mill.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing practices for continuous improvement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.03 - $29.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
